Hello readers!

I’m Ollie, a Maths student from the UK. This blog is in principle a place for me to write about areas of mathematics that I find fascinating. The posts here will range from simple explanations of abstract theorems to surprising applications of maths in everyday life. Although inevitably not every reader will be interested, I try to keep these posts as readable as possible for everyone.

No matter how open your eyes already are to mathematics, I hope this blog opens them a little wider.

    Hi Ollie.

I found your history of work on the primes very useful and clear. Do you have time to discuss some of the maths with me by email? Very basic stuff, but I want to check some ideas. No problem if not.
